Zeng Hanbing, master of Houpuzhai, male, Han ethnicity, was born into a scholarly family in Hunan, holds a university degree, is a member of the China Agricultural Workers' Democratic Party, and a member of the Hunan Artists Association. Artistic journey: Influenced by family tradition since childhood, he developed a passion for painting and calligraphy, and began formal training at the age of thirteen. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Hunan Light Industry College. In 2013, he completed the Advanced Research Class in Chinese Ink Painting (Xieyi) taught by Professor Zhang Lichen at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Ministry of Education; in 2014, he completed the research program on floral-bird and landscape painting led by Professor Yue Qianshan at Renmin University of China; from 2014 to 2015, he further studied in Professor Yue Qianshan’s studio at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Specializing in expressive floral-bird and landscape painting, he also paints figures. He studied under Professors Zhang Lichen, Yu Guanghua, and Yue Qianshan of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. His works have been selected for exhibition at the Yanhuang Art Museum in Beijing, the Beijing Guoyi Art Museum, and art museums in Hunan, Loudi, and other regions, and have been published in academic journals such as Calligraphy Daily and Art Daily. He currently founded Hanfeng Academy of Painting and Calligraphy.
