Tao Tianyi (born Tao Wuhan, also known as Master of Hanyun Studio)Hunan Yiyang native, professional painter, calligrapher, and senior craft artist. Specializes particularly in Chinese painting, calligraphy, seal carving, pyrography, porcelain painting, and more. Since childhood, he has been deeply passionate about painting and calligraphy; in his early years, he focused on landscape and bird-and-flower subjects, extensively studying and emulating countless masterpieces by renowned artists, thoroughly absorbing their essence—such as the works of masters Ren Bonian, Wu Changshuo, Qi Baishi, Liu Kuiying, Guan Shanyue, and Wang Xuetao. Later, he studied under masters in the "First Village for Tiger Painting" in Henan, specializing in meticulous-style animal painting, and further pursued studies at Renmin University of China and other institutions in Beijing, receiving guidance and support from numerous renowned artists. He has achieved remarkable artistic accomplishments and has invented over a dozen unique techniques for meticulous fur rendering. Some of his works have been repeatedly exhibited and awarded in national exhibitions, and many have been collected by prominent collectors both domestically and internationally. Major national newspapers, magazines, art websites, and media outlets have extensively featured him, and he maintains a personal official website and has published art albums. Currently, he serves as a council member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, a council member of the China Bird-and-Flower Painting Association, a member of the China National Folklore Association, a committee member of the National Celebrity Calligraphy and Painting Art Federation, a member of the Hunan Provincial Artists Association, a member of the Hunan Provincial Bird-and-Flower Painting Association, vice president of the Yiyang City Chinese Painting Society, council member of the Yiyang City Senior Calligraphers and Painters Association, council member of the Yiyang City Artists Association, and dean of the Hanyun Studio Art Academy. He is also a contracted artist with Anhui Zhenmingge and Hunan Wanchunbaocai, and a specially appointed professor at Hunan Foreign Trade College.
