Pen name: Xiao Xiangzi, online name: Drunken Moon Poet, born in 1962 in Shaodong, Hunan, a current cadre with a college diploma, senior economic engineer, recipient of the titles "Hunan Entrepreneur" and "Outstanding Teacher of Chinese Couplets in Hunan," member of the Chinese Poetry Society, China Couplet Society, China National Artists Association, and Hunan Writers Association; Senior Research Fellow of Huaxia Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Academy; Research Fellow of the Chinese Poetry Culture Research Institute and the China Couplet Culture Research Institute; Director of the Hunan Poetry Association, Vice President of the Shaoyang City Poetry Association, Chairman of the Shaodong Poetry Association, Vice Chairman of the Shaodong Coupletists Association, and President of the Zhengshui Poetry Society; Editor-in-Chief of 《Zhao Yang Yin Tan》and 《Zhengshui Liu Yun》, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of 《Shaodong Couplet》. He participated in the Self-Defense Counterattack War against Vietnam and was awarded Third-Class Merit; served as factory director of Shaoyang No.2 Cement Plant. He is an avid reader with broad interests, conducting research in literature, calligraphy, photography, and traditional Chinese medicine, specializing in poetry, couplets, and calligraphy, having composed over 500 poems and more than 600 couplets. His works have been published in over 100 national newspapers and magazines including 《Chinese Poetry》, 《Cultural Monthly》, 《Poetry Magazine》, 《Contemporary Poetry》, 《Poetry Hundreds》, and 《China Couplet News》. In 2011, he won the Popular Award at the First China Hundred Poems and Hundred Couplets Competition; his poetry received Second Prize in the 2013 National “NPC Cup” Competition; from 2009 to 2016, he won the Annual Best Work Award (highest honor) at the National 《Couplet China》 for seven consecutive years. His works and biography have been included in 46 reference books such as 《Dictionary of Chinese Poets》, 《Great Dictionary of Chinese Couplet Artists》, 《International Yanhuang Cultural Celebrities Dictionary》, 《Chinese Classical Scholarship Biographies》, and 《Contemporary Observations of Couplet Masters》. Some of his works are engraved on stone or displayed on plaques at the Shihu Mountain Scenic Area and Zhao Yang Pavilion.
