Personal Profile
Pen name: Wen Junmu Xiu. Since childhood, he has been passionate about calligraphy and naturally eager to learn, spending his life admiring calligraphy. Influenced by Huang Ziyuan, a calligrapher from the late Qing Dynasty, he has continuously studied and contemplated Huang’s “Ninety-Two Methods of Regular Script Structure.” Over the past thirty years, he has meticulously copied and completed numerous master calligraphy albums, including those of Ouyang Xun, Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan, Zhao Mengfu, and Huang Ziyuan, developing profound calligraphic skills. In recent years, he has focused his creative direction on extending the artistic conception of calligraphy and deeply exploring its cultural roots, infusing his works with historical depth and contemporary relevance, and establishing the Wen Mang Calligraphy Academy. He won the Gold Award in the Youth Category of the “Promoting New Talent Competition” hosted by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and was also awarded the Outstanding New Talent Achievement Award.
