Personal Profile

He Lianghuang, from Dao County, Hunan, was born in December 1974. He began learning calligraphy at the age of four and studied fine arts professionally at sixteen. In July 1991, he graduated from Hunan Province Dao County Normal School, then enrolled in the Art Department of Hunan Normal University, and later furthered his studies in the Calligraphy Department of China Academy of Art. He is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and a calligraphy instructor at Dao County Normal School, Hunan Province. His calligraphy works have won first prizes in numerous national calligraphy competitions and have received multiple first-prize coaching awards in national painting and calligraphy contests.
