 Hong Xueping, male, born in 1966, from Wuling, Hunan. He spent many years in the military engaged in calligraphy, painting, and propaganda work, and assisted then-Chairman of the Central Military Commission Jiang Zemin with ink and brush during his inspection of the Guangxi Military Region.
       He has repeatedly studied under Qi Gong, former Chairman of the China Calligraphers Association. He has inscribed characters for the Mahavira Hall of Jueci Temple in Taizhou, and written a large-scale scroll of "Record of Yueyang Tower" for the Nanning People's Auditorium in Guangxi. At the request of the Korean Chamber of Commerce, he presented a calligraphy piece titled "Virtue Aligns with Heaven" to former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. His works have been collected by professional art institutions abroad, including Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Israel, and the Olympic Center in Lausanne. His works have won multiple awards, been published in books or newspapers, and over eighty of his pieces have been engraved on stone steles. He has successively joined the PLA 81 Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, Yongjiang Seal Society, Guangxi Calligraphers Association, Guangxi Poetry Association, Guangxi Couplet Association, China Calligraphers Association, Qi Gong Calligraphy Research Society, China Banner Calligraphy Association, China Association for the Promotion of Traditional Culture, and Guangxi Association for the Promotion of Ethnic Culture. He is currently a professional calligrapher and painter.
