Meng Qingyi, courtesy name Qi Yuan, art name Yu Yang, also known as: Suxin Studio, Yi Yu Studio, Zexi Garden. Born in 1955 in Changsha, ancestral home in Wuqing, Tianjin.
Graduated from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. Currently Vice Chairman of the China Association of Arts and Crafts Artists, and a National First-Class Artist designated by the Ministry of Culture.
