Personal Profile
Li Guangxi, female, ancestral home in Liuyang, Hunan Province, currently residing in Loudi City, Hunan Province, member of the Communist Party of China. She studied at the Advanced Research Class of Chinese Painting, China Artists Association. Her mentors include Professors Huo Chunyang, He Dong, and Yan Baozhen from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, as well as renowned artists Zhang Jinrong and Li Donghui, under whose guidance she has received extensive instruction.
She is currently a specially appointed painter and calligrapher of the Eastern Famous People Calligraphy and Painting Academy of Hunan Province, a member of the China National Painters Association, a council member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Creation Institute, a member of the Loudi City Artists Association of Hunan Province, a standing council member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Exchange Association, and vice president of the Fengyang Calligraphy and Painting Academy of Loudi City, Hunan Province. She is currently an instructor of traditional Chinese painting at the Elderly University. In 2015, she successfully held her personal art exhibition.
For many years, I have consistently observed natural phenomena and absorbed rich cultural heritage from diverse traditions. Integrating ancient and modern elements, I have diligently practiced painting, laying a solid foundation in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in artistic expression. I specialize in freehand-style flower-and-bird painting, with works emphasizing elegance and freshness, pursuing spiritual essence, grandeur, and expressive brushwork enriched with deep ink tones. My works have been frequently exhibited at various levels of calligraphy and painting exhibitions and have won numerous awards.

In 2018, Second Prize in the calligraphy and painting exhibition "Happy Xiao, Cultural Loudi," jointly organized by the Publicity Department of the Loudi Municipal Committee and the Loudi City Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
In 2008, Gold Medal in the National Calligraphy and Painting Works Grand Prize Contest.
In 2008, Gold Medal in the International Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition for the work "Wealth and Harmony."
In 2009, after review by the China Calligraphy and Painting Creation Institute and the China Artist Qualification Certification Committee, awarded the title "China's Top 100 Calligraphers and Painters of 2009."
In 2010, the work "Ode to Peace" was selected for the Chinese Artists Encyclopedia and awarded the title "Chinese Virtuous and Artistic Master."
In 2013, Outstanding Award in the First "Beautiful Chinese Dream" National Community Calligraphy and Painting Invitational Exhibition.
