Liu Yimai: Alias "Le Tian Scholar", born in October 1960, a native of Changsha, Hunan Province, has been fond of Chinese painting and calligraphy since childhood. He is a dedicated elementary school art teacher, a member of the Changsha Artists Association, an executive councilor of Wuxi Xi Mei Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a member of the Yuelu District Artists Association, and a member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association. His qualifications for appointment as a senior fine arts practitioner by the Ministry of Culture have been recognized by the research center of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association. He particularly enjoys painting freehand lotus flowers. His works of birds and flowers are natural and elegant, with strong colors and forms, and have his own style. His work "Peace" won an excellent award at the city's bird and flower painting exhibition. "The Charm of the Lotus Pond" won an excellent award at the Yuelu District 2015 Fine Arts Exhibition. "Lotus Rhythm" won second prize in the 2016 Yuelu District Fine Arts Teachers' Competition. In 2018, he was awarded the special prize in the Yuelu District Primary and Secondary Schools "Exhibiting the Beauty of Chinese Characters" Calligraphy and Seal Carving Competition. The "Lotus Series Works" were selected for the Sino-American artists' stamp album. The works "Lotus, Landscape, Calligraphy" were selected for the "凝聚新时代梦想,纪念改革开放40周年1978-2018 Chinese Contemporary Art Leaders", and he moved into the名人database in September 2018. He was awarded the title of "Most Powerful Artist in China 2018". He won the ninth Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Competition Merit Award.
