Li Chuanzhen, female, young Chinese painter, was born in 1970 in Jiangling, Hubei. She graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree. In 2003, she completed her postgraduate studies in Chinese Ink-and-Wash Figure Painting at Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, earning a Master’s degree. She formerly served as an Associate Professor in the Chinese Painting Department of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts and is currently employed at the China Academy of Art, as a painter at the Modern Gongbi Painting Academy, a member of the China Artists Association, and a council member of the Chinese Gongbi Painting Society. She has won the Hubei Gold Award at the 10th National Art Exhibition, the Bronze Award at the 10th National Art Exhibition, the Highest Award at the 3rd National Chinese Painting Exhibition, the Highest Award at the 3rd National Youth Art Exhibition, the Hubei Gold Award at the 11th National Art Exhibition, the Silver Award at the 11th National Art Exhibition, and the Highest Award at the 4th National Youth Art Exhibition. She is represented by Jinquanzhai Art Gallery and has been awarded the “Top Ten Outstanding Cultural and Artistic Talent Award” by Hubei Province.
