Personal Profile

Yang Yaozhou, from Wuhan, Hubei, graduated from the Fine Arts Department of the Normal Arts Faculty in 1982. He is a National First-Class Artist, currently serving as a council member of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK) Academy of Painting, Vice President of the Hubei RCCK Academy of Painting, and Vice President of the Wuhan RCCK Academy of Calligraphy and Painting. He is also a member of the Hubei Artists Association, a council member of the Wuhan Artists Association, a council member of the Hubei Overseas Chinese Federation Cultural Exchange Association, and a committee member of the Wuhan Overseas Chinese Federation. In 2012, he became a disciple of Zhou Shaohua.
