      Tang Yi, formerly known as Tang Yihong, studio name Hongyi Hall, pen names Yihong and Qiushui Yihong. Born in 1975, originally from Hubei, she works at the People's Procuratorate of Shigu District, Hengyang City. Since childhood, she has been passionate about painting and calligraphy, receiving her early guidance from Master Zhong Zengya, a close friend of her father. She is currently a member of the Hunan Artists Association and Deputy Director of the Fine Arts Committee of the Hunan Provincial Political and Legal System Research Association for Painting, Poetry, and Photography. As a rising cultural talent within the political and legal system, she persistently dedicates her spare time to studying and practicing. Her work "Ten Thousand Trees Bathed in Frosty Skies, Brilliant and Lush" won the Third Prize in the 24th Provincial Political and Legal System Painting, Poetry, and Photography Exhibition. For her, the journey of art has only just begun; she remains grounded and perseveres on the path of art, continuously learning, creating, and improving, contributing to the cultural development of the political and legal system and striving to promote outstanding traditional Chinese culture.   Some say painting enriches personal life and makes one more confident; others believe it deepens understanding of things and enhances aesthetic appreciation; still others hold that painting provides a spiritual refuge and a vessel for one’s aspirations, serving as a lifelong companion and one of life’s great blessings… She revels in saying: Painting is an enjoyment of self-forgetfulness, a source of joy that soothes the soul. She is a dedicated and conscientious people’s prosecutor; she is a kind and selfless mother, a gentle and virtuous wife, a filial and thoughtful daughter… While fulfilling these many roles in life, she has remained steadfast in pursuing her beloved painting and calligraphy. Though her skills are still developing, she humbly seeks guidance from other masters and remains open to learning.
