Wu Dongming

Wu Dongming, styled Tie Shi, also known as Lingcan Shanren and Hanmozhai Master, male, born on July 24, 1964, in Luoyang, Henan, the capital of peonies, spent his childhood in Minquan, Henan, the birthplace of Zhuangzi. He graduated from Wuhan No. 6 High School at age 15, earned his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Wuhan University at age 21, and furthered his studies at the Central Academy of Fine Arts at age 22. Born into a family of painters and calligraphers, he was deeply immersed in artistic culture from an early age and developed a profound passion for literature and visual arts. Later, under the guidance of the master of meticulous-style painting, Mr. Feng Dazhong, he devoted 13 years to in-depth research and creation in meticulous-style paintings of animals, figures, and birds and flowers, winning numerous national awards. He later shifted his focus to freehand-style ink painting, receiving direct instruction from renowned masters Li Baolin and Jiang Caiping. After an accidental encounter with the feng shui master Star Cloud Master, he began researching the creation of feng shui landscape paintings. Member of the China Artists Association, Council Member of the China Online Writers Association, Member of the Hubei Provincial Association of Painters and Calligraphers, Member of the Hubei Cultural Promotion Association. Formerly Chief Evaluation Expert at the Art Authentication and Evaluation Center of Zhenji Company—the largest private cultural communication enterprise in China—and Director of Business Development for Hubei Zhongsheng Auction Company · Masterpiece Collection Art Institution.
