Ni Chunzhi

Personal Profile

Ni Chunzhi, born in 1954, is from Wuhan, Hubei. She studied large-style ink flower-and-bird painting under Wang Xiulong (a direct disciple of Qi Baishi, Duanmu Mengxi). She has also studied Chinese landscape painting for over thirty years under Master Ma Xuechang (a disciple of Duanmu Mengxi). She has participated in numerous art exhibitions and won awards. She is currently Vice President of the Hubei Jingchu Painting Academy, a member of the Municipal Artists Association, a professional painter at the Calligraphy and Painting Market of Xudong Antique City in Wuhan, and a member of the Calligraphy and Painting Branch of the Hubei Collectors Association. In September 2019, she was featured on the Encyclopedia of Calligraphers and Painters.
