Personal Profile

Li Guanglong, courtesy name Hanjing, resident of Yulongzhai and Baya Hall, male, aged 56, holds a university degree, native of Badong County, Hubei Province. Since childhood, I have been passionate about calligraphy; my works have won numerous awards and are frequently published in newspapers, magazines, and books. I am a council member of the Badong County Calligraphy and Painting Association and a council member of the Badong County Poetry and Couplet Society. In 2012, I received a certificate from the Central Digital Television Calligraphy and Painting Channel for the Spring Festival Art Exhibition. In 2017, I participated in the National Calligraphy, Photography, and Poetry Art Competition themed "Celebrating the 19th National Congress, Brush and Ink Praise China" and the National Calligraphy Art Competition for Mao Zedong’s Poetry (Gold Award), and was awarded the honorary titles of "Patriotic Chinese Literary and Artistic Master" and "Red Artist Promoting Mao Zedong Thought." In 2018, I received an Excellent Award in the Third National Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Competition, and my work in the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition on Tang and Song Poems won the Gold Award. In 2019, the magazine "Songya Feng" published my calligraphy piece "Nian Nu Jiao: Reminiscing on Chibi" as the back cover of its first issue. In the 12th National Calligraphy and Painting Artists "Calligraphy and Painting Celebrity" Cup Competition, I won the Silver Award; in the 13th National Calligraphy and Painting Artists "Calligraphy and Painting Celebrity" Cup Competition, I won the Gold Award. In 2019, the "Splashing Ink Chinese Sentiment" Organizing Committee of China Education Television held a competition to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China, and my work "Qinyuanchun: Snow" received an Excellent Award. I also won the Silver Award in the 2019 National Calligraphy and Painting Competition "Praising the Motherland" commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of New China. I received the Gold Award for "China’s Brand Influence Calligrapher" in 2019. In the inaugural "Chinese Splendor Cup" Global Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Competition, my calligraphy work won the Special Gold Award. In the "Poetry Shining China" Poetry and Calligraphy Art Competition, my calligraphy work "Su Shi (Nian Nu Jiao: Reminiscing on Chibi)" won the Gold Award. In the "Shaoshan Cup" Mao Zedong Poetry Calligraphy Art Competition, my calligraphy work "Mao Zedong: Qinyuanchun: Changsha" won the Gold Award. In the 19th National Lushan Cup Calligraphy and Painting Competition, I won the Gold Award. I also won the Gold Award in the inaugural Lingnan Cup Global Chinese Calligraphy Competition. I have successively joined the Wu Men Baya Calligraphy School and was appointed as a member of the China Junbin Calligraphy and Painting Academy, awarded the honorary title of "Chinese Gentleman." Member of the Beijing Changchengchang Calligraphy Academy, member of the China Association for Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Research, member of the China Overseas Calligraphers and Painters Association, and member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association.
