Hu Jinpeng was born on June 2, 1998, in Jianli, Hubei, from the renowned Chinese calligraphy hometown—Mao Shi Town, Jianli County. Hu Jinpeng is a folk paper-cutting artist from the Jingchu region. Hu Jinpeng creates lifelike paper-cut artworks. Chinese paper-cut art continues to evolve. Through his deep study and innovation of paper-cutting art, Hu Jinpeng integrates modern elements, skillfully cutting flowers, cartoon characters, and artistic fonts into vivid and fluid designs, infusing traditional paper-cutting with contemporary content and leaving people in awe of the beauty of this traditional art form. He is currently the Founding Executive Chairman of Paper-Cut Calligraphy, a Beijing famous calligraphy and painting artist, an international calligraphy and painting figure, and a world-renowned calligraphy and painting master.
