Ni Dewen, male, from Hanchuan, Hubei Province, China, is a member of the Chinese Hard-Pen Calligraphy Association. Since childhood, he has been deeply passionate about literature, especially calligraphy. He has meticulously studied and copied numerous classical ancient steles and rubbings. His regular script is inspired by Yan Zhenqing and Liu Gongquan; his running script follows the styles of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi; his cursive script draws from Huai Su; and his clerical script is rooted in Eastern Han dynasty stele inscriptions. He draws inspiration from various schools and styles, absorbing strengths from both ancient and modern masters, diligently practicing with heart and hand, remaining steadfast in tradition while daring to innovate. He actively connects with fellow calligraphers, seeks guidance from renowned artists in the field, learns through immersion, and strives continuously for progress. He has won various awards in national calligraphy competitions, including Gold Prize, Silver Prize, Excellence Award, Merit Award, and Outstanding Award. His works have been included in publications such as "Essence of Huaxia Art," "Collection of Masterpieces by Contemporary Chinese Calligraphers and Painters," "Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Art," and "Great Dictionary of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Connoisseurship." His works are permanently collected by multiple institutions. He has been honored with titles such as "Huaxia Art Elite," "Contemporary Sage of Calligraphy and Painting," and "China's Power-Based Calligrapher and Painter." He has been appointed as Senior Calligrapher, Council Member, Academician, and other positions by multiple art organizations.
