Personal Profile

Pan Daofu, male, from Tongcheng, Hubei Province, China, is a member of the China Calligraphers Association, a member of the Tongcheng County Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and a member of the Hubei Provincial Calligraphers Association.

He graduated from the Specialized Research Class of the China Calligraphers Association Training Center in December 1999, studying under the renowned calligrapher Mr. Xu Benyi. He completed the Advanced Correspondence Course of the China Calligraphers Association from 2001 to 2003, with Mr. Liu Heng as his mentor.
In 2010, he became a member of the Hubei Provincial Calligraphers Association and began establishing brush calligraphy classes and hard-pen writing classes, which continue to the present day. His training program has enrolled hundreds of students from primary school, middle school, high school, university, graduate researchers, and the general public.
Awards and Exhibitions

2010 His work was selected for the Hubei Provincial Township Calligraphy Exhibition.
2013 He won the "Junma Award" from CCTV Calligraphy & Painting Video's event "Junma Storming the Art World"; his work was collected by the CCTV Calligraphy & Painting Channel Art Museum.
2016 His work was exhibited at the 8th Hubei Provincial Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition; the piece was collected by the Hubei Provincial Art Museum.
2016, 2017 He participated in the Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Personnel Research Classes hosted by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education, and was honored as an Outstanding Student in the second session. His stone carving and inkstone carving works were exhibited at the China Yangtze River Basin Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition and the Teaching Achievements Exhibition of Hubei Academy of Fine Arts, and were collected by the academy.
2017 His calligraphy work received the Excellent Work Award at the Xianning City Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition.
2019 His calligraphy work was exhibited at the 12th National Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition; the piece was collected by the Changsha Municipal Government.
2019 Invited Exhibition of Hubei Calligraphy, his calligraphy works have been collected by numerous institutions, enterprises, and individuals.
2019 He became a member of the China Calligraphers Association.
