Chen Ru

        Chen Ru, a native of Qionghai City, Hainan Province, graduated from the Department of Arts and Crafts, College of Art, Hainan University, and furthered her studies at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University (formerly the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts), as well as at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. She specializes in pastel painting, abstract art, and watercolor creation. She is currently a council member of the China Pastel Painting Alliance, an executive director of the Hainan Women Artists Association, a standing committee member of the Hainan Provincial Youth Federation, an executive director of the Hainan Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, an executive director of the Youth Entrepreneurs Committee of the Hainan Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the president of Bayijiu Art Commune, an art exchange platform.
