Ou Youcai

Ouyoucai, male, was born in March 1964. He is from Nan County, Hunan Province. Ouyoucai, the general planner of the National Calligraphy and Painting Masters Works Invitational Exhibition and a famous folk artist, began to teach himself and practice sculpture, paper cutting, photography, magic, landscape artificial mountains and other skills in 1979. He has participated in many national large-scale artistic evenings and performed on the same stage with famous comedians such as Wang Han, Ma Ke, Da Bing, Zhao Weiguo and others. His works have been published in more than 90 magazines including National Poetry Journal, Family, and Confidante. Some of his works have been sent abroad for exhibition and collection. He has also visited Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other places for academic exchanges. In August 2011, he was invited by the German government to visit seven European countries to participate in the art exhibition. In early 2012, he was invited by the World Chinese Art Research Association as a distinguished artist of the People's Republic to visit Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
