Li Bin,Henan Province, Xinxiang City, Han ethnicity, also known as the master of Yanlan Caotang Studio, is a professional painter, member of the China Landscape Painting Artists Association, member of the Henan Provincial Artists Association, executive director of the Xinxiang Municipal CPPCC Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and assistant instructor for Ren Zetao's Northern School of landscape painting. He graduated from Xinxiang University in Henan Province and further studied at the Advanced Research Class of Landscape Painting at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University. Since childhood, he has been passionate about painting and calligraphy. In August 2015, he became a disciple of Ren Zetao, a painter from the China Academy of Landscape Painting under the Ministry of Culture, studying traditional Chinese painting. In June 2017, he traveled to Yixing, Jiangsu Province, to study deeply under teachers Kong Fang and Liu Deshui, exploring tradition and nature, integrating mind with the natural world. Through years of dedicated research and creation in traditional painting, he has combined ancient and modern techniques to develop his own unique artistic style. In July 2017, he went to Beijing Science and Technology Vocational School to serve as teaching assistant to Master Ren Zetao, helping more people understand and master the techniques of the New Northern School of landscape painting. In October 2009, he founded "Yanlan Caotang," where he continues to teach and create art to this day. Early in his career, Li Bin focused on figure, flower-and-bird, and animal paintings, excelling particularly in animal subjects. In recent years, he has devoted himself primarily to landscape painting, drawing inspiration widely from various masters. His works emphasize overall momentum, characterized by grandeur and powerful presence. The detailed elements (such as houses, figures, small boats, etc.) are rendered with precision and fine craftsmanship. His outstanding works have been collected by well-known individuals and organizations both domestically and internationally, and his artistic achievements have been included in numerous large-scale stamp collections, art albums, and dictionaries. Mr. Li Bin is an artist of remarkable talent and creative strength. He loves life and is deeply fascinated by nature, consistently adhering to outdoor sketching. Willing to travel far in search of immortal beauty among the Five Great Mountains, he has roamed throughout China’s famous mountains and rivers. Over the years, he has continuously studied brushwork, ink usage, and textural techniques of major landscape painters, always upholding the principle of “learning from nature externally, expressing inner vision internally.” His works feature vivid clouds and mist, majestic mountain forms, realistic waterfalls, and strong sense of movement. Whether small in scale or large in scope, his pieces are renowned for their refinement and imposing power. He enjoys high recognition within Henan’s traditional painting circles. Awards and Honors: In April 2005, participated in the “Henan Provincial Painting and Calligraphy Competition,” winning First Prize for the meticulous-style bird-and-flower painting: *Moonlight on the Lotus Pond*. In August 2015, published a personal large-format stamp collection titled “Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.” In January 2016, participated in the “Safe Xinxiang” Xinxiang City Painting and Calligraphy Competition, winning First Prize for the freehand-style landscape painting: *Spring Rhyme of Taihang*, along with a prize of 2,000 RMB.
