Zhang Suoping

Zhang Suoping, male, born in 1961 in Kaifeng, has always enjoyed socializing and collecting, has a basic understanding of poetry and literature, some appreciation skills, and especially loves calligraphy. From childhood, he received family instruction and inherited his family's tradition, devoting particular effort to the study of Han dynasty clerical script and Wei dynasty steles. In recent years, through teaching and personal example, he has achieved abundant results. In 1982 and 1985, his works were selected for national calligraphy exhibitions; in 2003, he won the gold award in the Chinese Calligraphy Online Competition and was included in the "Compendium of Famous Chinese Calligraphers and Painters." His works have been continuously published in various media such as the "China Couplet News," "Kaifeng Daily," "Bianliang Evening News," and"Yellow River Style."
