Personal Profile

Zhang Tielai, born in 1957. From Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. Currently serves as vice president of the Henan Provincial Association for the Promotion of Chinese Civilization, council member of the Henan Secret Garden Painting and Calligraphy Institute, academician of the China Jiyou Hall Painting and Calligraphy Academy. Won the third prize in the national "Youth Cup" Painting and Calligraphy Competition in 1996; his calligraphy works were exhibited at the Cross-Strait Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition in 2016; in 2017, his painting and calligraphy works won the gold award at the Cross-Strait Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition and were permanently collected by overseas friends. In 2017, he was awarded the title of "Calligrapher and Painter for Caring about the Disabled" by the Zhengzhou municipal government. His works have been exhibited and awarded multiple times in national painting and calligraphy competitions.
