	Zhang Duerui, born in 1955, is from Yanshi City, Henan Province. He has been learning painting since childhood. In 1988, he furthered his studies at the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts and later became a disciple of Master Guo Zixiu, a renowned Chinese painter, devoting over twenty years to the study of traditional Chinese painting. Specializing in bird-and-flower painting, he has gradually developed his own distinctive style. His works such as "Flowers Blooming Like Brocade," "Joy of the Countryside," "National Treasure Bathed in Sunset Glow," "Prosperity and Good Fortune," "Drunk with Spring Blossoms in March," and "The Enchanting Beauty of Flowers Drives Poets Wild" have won gold and numerous awards in national, provincial, and municipal art competitions and evaluations. His artworks have been collected by relevant state departments and prominent figures both at home and abroad, and have been published in many domestic newspapers and magazines. Currently, he is an academician of the China International Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, a member of the China National Academy of Painting, a member of the Henan Artists Association, a member of the Henan Bird-and-Flower Painting Research Association, and Vice President of Luoyang Heluo Painting and Calligraphy Institute.
