Wang Dongliang, also known as Geng Niu, styled "Du Xing Qian Li", is from Bo'ai County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province. He is currently a member of the Henan Calligraphers Association, a member of the China Research Society of Cultural Arts, and a council member of the Chinese Young Artists Association. Passionate about calligraphy since childhood, he has extensively studied various styles and participated in numerous national and regional calligraphy exhibitions. His works have been selected for the 15th and 16th Henan Provincial Mass Calligraphy Exhibitions, as well as the Environmental Art Calligraphy and Painting Exhibitions in 2014, 2015, and 2016. He won the Art Gold Award at the Invitational Exhibition commemorating Chairman Mao Zedong on the 60th anniversary of New China's founding, and was awarded the Red Art Outstanding Contribution Award. In recent years, he has been active in the domestic and international calligraphy community. In 2018, in recognition of his outstanding achievements in the field of calligraphy and painting art during the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening-up, materials including his portrait were included in the theme collection "Chinese Stamp Album: Staying True to Our Original Aspiration, Continuing Forward—Celebrating the 19th National Congress." His images have also appeared on postage stamps, philatelic items, and stamp albums honored as "National Business Cards," marking him as a leading figure in contemporary Chinese calligraphy art embarking on a new era.
