Li Junliang was born in 1950 in Yuzhou, Henan. Since childhood, he has been influenced by his family to practice calligraphy in the styles of Ouyang Xun, Yan Zhenqing, Wang Xizhi, and other classical models, upholding traditional methods and persistently dedicating himself to his art. He firmly believes that regular script should embody hidden simplicity and rustic charm, while cursive script should flow like drifting clouds and running water. Over the years, he has participated multiple times in provincial and municipal painting and calligraphy competitions and won awards. He is a member of the Calligraphy and Painting Academy of the China Socialist Literature and Art Association and a member of the Henan Province Farmers' Calligraphy and Painting Association. In 2013, he received the Second Prize in the Henan Province New Rural Construction Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition; in 2014, he received an Excellent Award at the First China Contemporary Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting Masterpieces Exhibition and another Excellent Award at the Fourth China Integrity Culture Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition.
