Artist Resume: Zhang Lianwu, styled Jingren, was born in 1974 and hails from Henan.
Professor, professional painter, collector, and renowned curator.
Member of the Artists' Association, council member of the China International Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, current chairman of Beijing Chengjiaxianglong Cultural Development Co., Ltd., general manager of Sanhe Yijing Culture Media Co., Ltd., and principal of the Yanjiao Training Base of the China International Academy of Calligraphy and Painting. He has successfully curated numerous large-scale exhibitions including the Beijing Oriental Art Expo (Beijing Exhibition Center), the Hubei Oriental Art Expo (Wuhan Guest House), the Exhibition Commemorating the 120th Anniversary of the Birth of Chairman Mao Zedong (National History Museum), and the Sino-French Cultural Exchange Art Exhibition (France).
His artistic style is independent, with a strong painting language and proficient techniques. His works have been exhibited multiple times both domestically and internationally. They are collected by domestic and international institutions such as the China Art Research Institute, the China Artists' Association, Jizhenzhuang Gallery in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Beijing Haohua Culture Company.
His works have been selected for over 20 large-scale anthologies including "Art," "Art Review," "China Cultural Daily," "Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese Young Famous Painters," "Complete Collection of Traditional Chinese Painting," "Selected Works of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting," "Collection of Works by Contemporary Famous Painters and Calligraphers," "Selected Ink Tracings by Contemporary Famous Painters and Calligraphers," and "Great Dictionary of Contemporary Famous Painters and Calligraphers." In the past decade, his animal meticulous paintings and landscape ink paintings have been highly valued by the domestic and international art collection community.
