Zhao Zili, courtesy name Zhongsan, was born on July 13, 1939, in Shenqiu County, Henan Province. He excels in both calligraphy and painting, and graduated from the postgraduate program of Henan Calligraphy Correspondence College. He frequently studies ancient stone inscriptions and works by modern masters in various scripts, as well as numerous ancient and contemporary scroll paintings.
