Zhang Baofeng, styled Yongle, hao Bubian Zhai Zhuren, originally from Kaifeng City, Henan Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China.Born in December 1976 in the famous ancient capital of the Song Dynasty, he was immersed in the cultural heritage of the old city and developed a deep passion for calligraphy and seal carving from an early age. During his military service, influenced by military calligraphers, he became deeply interested in the stele culture of the Forest of Stone Steles in Xi'an, and began studying historical texts and stele rubbings of various ancient scripts.
After leaving the army, he focused on regular script, clerical script, seal script, and seal carving, and was fortunate to receive personal instruction and teaching from renowned masters such as Xia Jianzhong. His works have won numerous awards, are widely appreciated and collected by people from all walks of life, and can be found throughout the country.
For the past decade, he has persisted in daily practice without interruption, using art to cultivate his character and moral integrity. He founded the Hanmo Xuan Calligraphy Class, nurturing a large number of students, and actively participates in rural public welfare teaching support activities.
