Shitou, born in March 1969, is from Zhumadian, Henan Province. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Zhengzhou University, an EMBA in Pharmaceutical Management from Peking University, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He began studying calligraphy at an early age under the guidance of his uncle, Mr. Chen Jingzeng. Later, he practiced Yan Zhenqing's "Duobao Pagoda" inscription. During his university years, he frequently studied the regular script on plaques written by calligrapher Tang Yurun. For running and cursive scripts, he apprenticed under the renowned Chinese calligrapher Professor Zhu Zhongbao and is an official indoor disciple of Professor Zhu Zhongbao.
