Wang Yanpeng

Wang Yanpeng, male, was born on November 28, 1970 in Kaifeng City. He is a member of the Calligraphy Association of Kaifeng City and a member of the Calligraphy and Painting Association of the New Area of Kaifeng City. He has a college degree and has been fond of Chinese calligraphy since childhood. He has practiced ancient famous calligraphers' styles such as Liu style, Yan style, Zhao style, and studied clerical script and other fonts. On August 16, 2011, his calligraphy works were exhibited in the "Soul of Xibaipo" National Calligraphy Competition; In the autumn of 2012, one of my students, Cui Qing, won the first prize in the Qingming Culture Festival Calligraphy Competition, which made me, as the tutor, feel very proud. In June 2013, his work "Inscription of Modest Studio" was collected in the "Art Collection of Teachers from the New Area of Kaifeng City"; On December 8, 2014, the list of winners of the Henan Province Second "Tianhong Cup" Primary and Secondary School Teacher and Student Calligraphy Competition was published in the "Calligraphy News". I won an excellent award. In October 2017, in the China-Australia Twin Cities Calligraphy Exhibition, with more than 3,000 calligraphers from across the country participating, my works "Autumn Evening in the Mountain Residence" and "Recording of Three Hundred Tang Poems" were selected.
