Personal Profile

Zhang Ge graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Luoyang Normal University in 1981. On May 2014, he participated in a commendation ceremony recorded by China Central Television at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing and was awarded the honorary title of "Outstanding Contemporary Chinese Artist with Virtue and Artistry"! On the morning of October 3, 2015, during the CCTV competition commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan, his calligraphy work "Horse Achieves Success" won the Gold Award, and he performed live writing on the CCTV studio stage.
