Fan Jingqian

Fán Jìngqiān, male, born in November 1956, member of the Communist Party of China, senior primary school teacher, Henan Province Calligraphy Association member, vice president and deputy secretary-general of Henan Jiuyuanfang Calligraphy and Painting Institute. National First-Class Calligrapher. In 1997, his work won the Outstanding Award at the 10th Henan Provincial Mass Calligraphy Exhibition. In 1998, his work was exhibited at the Henan Province Thousand-People Copying Calligraphy Exhibition (no awards were given).
       In July 2016, his work was selected for the Chinese Double Ninth Festival Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition.
       In April 2012, he won the Third Prize in a calligraphy, painting, and photography competition hosted by the Henan Province Support-the-Army and Love-the-People Office.
       In July 2013, he won the Outstanding Award in the Chunqi Lotus Festival Calligraphy and Painting Competition hosted by Henan Chunqi Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd.
       In February 2014, his work was exhibited in the 1st Fengqing Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition hosted by the Jinshui District Party Working Committee of Zhengzhou City.
       In December 2014, his work was exhibited in the Calligraphy and Painting Competition commemorating the 121st anniversary of Chairman Mao's birth, hosted by the Henan Mao-style Calligraphy Research Association.
       In August 2015, he won the Third Prize in the Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, hosted by the Henan Mao-style Calligraphy Research Association.
       In October 2015, he won the Third Prize in the "Beautiful China, Charming Zhongyuan" 8th Joint Exhibition of Excellent Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Works, hosted by the Henan Provincial Bureau for Retired Cadres.
       In April 2016, he won the Outstanding Award in the annual finals of the 1st National Calligraphy Art Online Competition hosted by the China Hard-pen Calligraphers Association.
       In June 2016, his calligraphy work was published in a calligraphy journal.
       In 2017, he won the Gold Award in the 4th National Online Calligraphy Competition, and his works participated in the touring charity exhibition organized by the Henan Provincial Charity Federation.
