Fu Baojun

           Fu Baojun, born in 1972 in Kaifeng, began learning painting from a young age and won first prize consecutively in the Kaifeng Children's Painting and Calligraphy Competition from 1982 to 1985. After graduating from junior high school, he worked in a factory for six years, then established his own art studio. From 2004 to 2008, he worked in consulting, and in 2009, he returned to Kaifeng to engage in the preservation of Kaifeng's hutong old houses. He created serial comics to promote Kaifeng culture, which were published in the Bianliang Evening News for five years, and his serial comic works have been published multiple times in provincial and national magazines.
