Han Zhenhe, style name Ruya, art name Xinglin Wenke. Henan Anyang native, a distinguished realist Chinese calligraphy artist, graduated from Henan Medical University, a professional physician who has devoted over thirty years to the study of calligraphy in his spare time. Currently serving as a council member of the China Contemporary Artists Association, a council member of the Chinese Bai Juyi Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Institute, and Dean of the Shenzhen Guanlan Branch of the Beijing Baozhi Tang Medical Research Institute, a member of the Henan Calligraphers Association, and a member of the Shenzhen Writers Association. Han Zhenhe’s calligraphy encompasses multiple scripts, with particular expertise in running-cursive and clerical styles. He inherits the style of the Two Wangs, extensively drawing upon the techniques of Huaisu, Zhao Mengfu, Mi Fu, and Wang Duo, integrating them seamlessly to form his own grand, vigorous, and bold style. His clerical script, inspired by the Cao Quan Stele, embodies richness, elegance, and serenity. Over the years, his calligraphy works have won numerous awards domestically and are frequently featured in national authoritative media such as China Calligraphy and Painting News, Calligraphy Guide, and Calligraphy Anthology. His works have been exhibited and repeatedly awarded at successive Shenzhen Cultural Industries Expositions. He is often invited to inscribe names and titles for businesses and institutions, and has been invited multiple times to exchange and exhibit his works in Hong Kong, Canada, Denmark, Singapore, and other countries. Many of his works are collected by renowned figures both at home and abroad. He has been included in multiple calligraphy and painting reference books, including Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphers and Grand View of Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Masters’ Handwritings.
