 Ji Taiyou, male, pen name Qingyuan, was born in the 1960s on the banks of the Qi River in Qixian County. He is currently Vice President of the Central China Branch of the China Cultural Heritage Protection Research Institute, Director of the China Branch of the United Nations Calligraphers and Painters Association, Executive Dean of the Chinese Generals Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Secretary-General of the Oriental Son International Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Deputy Secretary-General of the Henan Branch of the World Yi Studies Leaders Association, and Vice President of the Chinese Prajna Holographic Sinology Center of the Henan Province I Ching Association.
    Qixian County, historically known as Chaoge, once served as the imperial capital for the last four dynasties of the Shang Dynasty and later as the capital of the State of Wei during the Spring and Autumn Period, boasting over 3,000 years of civilized history. Mr. Qingyuan has deeply absorbed the cultural essence of Chaoge, excelling in music, dance, and painting, while frequently producing outstanding works in ceramics and glass art. In recent years, he has created large-scale mural paintings at temples such as Yunmeng Mountain, Gu Ling Mountain, Lingguang Pavilion, and Sanren Pool, and has also participated in the artistic design of ancient architecture at various tourist attractions. During this period, he created numerous landscape paintings characterized by “paintings within paintings,” displaying distinctive and innovative compositions and layouts. He has been honored with the title “One of China’s Top Ten Realist Painters,” and his works have been collected by numerous calligraphy and painting enthusiasts as well as domestic and foreign entrepreneurs.
