Shi Naxi

Personal Profile

Shi Nazǐ, originally named Chang Chun, is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. His pen name is Nazǐ, and he is a lay Buddhist practitioner from Kaifeng. A professional calligrapher, his academic paper won a national second prize. Having practiced meditation in seclusion for years, his calligraphy carries a distinct Zen flavor. He currently serves as the president of the Tokyo Calligraphy and Painting Academy.
