 Liang Yanting, male, born in 1956. From Qixian County, a teacher by profession. Studied under calligrapher Cheng Yutian. First cohort student at the China Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University. Specializes in clerical script, and also enjoys running script, cursive script, and seal script. In 1994, awarded the New Talent and New Works Prize in county-level calligraphy; in 2002, his works were prominently included in the anthology of the 5th "Return Cup" Calligraphy and Painting Competition, as well as in the "Dictionary of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Talents." In 2003, won the second prize in the Small Works Competition hosted by the Hunan Calligraphers Association. In 2004, participated in exhibitions three times, winning awards twice. In subsequent years, as his works were repeatedly included in anthologies of calligraphy and seal carving, he was honored by the China Calligraphy and Painting Celebrities Research Association with the title of Outstanding Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Artist.
