Lu Qi, born in Xinxiang, Henan, is the owner of Yixin Hall. She graduated from the Calligraphy Department of Hebei Academy of Fine Arts and currently serves as Secretary-General of Mo Hen Calligraphy and Painting Academy. She studied under Mr. Niu Yonghai, Chairman of Xinxiang Social Science Federation; Chinese Calligraphers Association members Yang Xiaogang, Wang Sen, and Huang Jianwei; Mr. Wang Shiwen, creative staff member of China National Academy of Arts; and later received guidance from renowned masters such as Liu Zhengcheng, Wo Xinghua, Zeng Xiang, Li Qiang, Hu Kangmei, Zhang Yuxiang, Li Guosheng, and others. Having studied calligraphy for over a decade, she specializes in regular script and cursive script while also cultivating seal script and clerical script. She has conducted in-depth research into seal carving and traditional Chinese painting, possesses a solid foundation, and has rich experience in college entrance examination calligraphy training. Currently, she serves as General Manager of Yixin Hall Art Studio in Weibin District, Xinxiang; member of China Couplets Society; member of China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association; specially appointed calligrapher and painter of China Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper; Intermediate Certified Teacher of China Calligraphers Association; Senior National Social Calligraphy Certified Teacher; member of Henan Calligraphers Association; Director of Xinxiang Calligraphers Association; member of Xinxiang Artists Association; member of Xinxiang Calligraphy and Painting Association; member of Wenfeng Hall Calligraphy and Art Research Institute; Vice President of Moyan Calligraphy and Painting Society; Vice President of Huojia County Collectors Association; Secretary-General of Mo Hen Calligraphy and Painting Academy; specially appointed lecturer of Jinyuge National Art Gallery; member of Zhongyuan Economic Zone Xinxiang Ziyang Calligraphy and Painting Academy; and Vice President of the Youth Calligraphy and Painting Academy of China Calligraphy Education in Gansu.     Her works have been published and collected by cultural and museum institutions such as "Youth Calligraphy," "Calligraphy Guide Newspaper," "Times China," "Xizhi Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper," and "New Morning Post." In 2014, she participated as a volunteer in the judging of the national calligraphy exhibition for the "Memorial to My Nephew" Cup. In 2015, she passed Level 8 of the soft-brush calligraphy examination organized by the China Calligraphers Association. In 2015, she held the online exhibition "Spring Plan—Post-90s Generation: Calligraphy by Lu Qi" on the China Calligraphers Forum. In 2016, she was featured by mainstream media including Toutiao, Sohu, NetEase, Yidianzixun, Tian Tian Kuaibao, and Charm Henan Network. In 2017, she inscribed calligraphy for the "Xiaodianhe Qing Dynasty Residential Architecture Complex." In 2017, she was awarded the title "2017 National Advanced Figure in Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting" by the China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association and "2017 China New Era Literary and Art Master" by China Prose Network. In 2018, she was awarded "Annual Outstanding Calligrapher" by Mo Hen Calligraphy and Painting Academy. In 2019, she was honored as "Chinese Dream—Meritorious Artist" by Shifang Art. In 2019, her work "Spirit of the Dragon and Horse" was collected by the Cultural Museum in Bangkok, Thailand.
