Mr. Kang Xian, pen name Yunfei, was born in 1957 in Henan, holds a college diploma, and is a member of the Communist Party of China. Since childhood, influenced by his ancestors, he has developed a deep passion for calligraphy art, strictly adhering to classical methods and practicing diligently. He has studied and copied steles and scrolls of renowned historical calligraphers, absorbing their essence and gradually forming his own distinctive style, earning widespread acclaim from society and calligraphy enthusiasts.
   Mr. Kang Xian is a member of the China Calligraphers Association; a committee member of the National Celebrity Calligraphy and Painting Artists Federation; a contracted calligrapher for “Xizhi Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper, Poet-Calligrapher-Painter”; Vice President and Researcher at the Wu Daozi Calligraphy and Painting Academy; Art Director of Sotheby’s Calligraphy and Painting Art Center; Vice President of Henan Social Work Charity Calligraphy and Painting Academy; Honorary Calligrapher of Henan Charity; and Vice President of the Xuchang Branch of Henan Social Work Charity Calligraphy and Painting Academy.
  Mr. Kang Xian’s works have won numerous national and provincial awards. His running script work “Jiangnan Spring” received First Prize at the National Annual Conference of Poets, Calligraphers and Painters; his semi-cursive script “Liangzhou Ci” won Second Prize at the 8th Xizhi Cup National Calligraphers Invitational Competition. His works have been selected for inclusion in the “Poet-Calligrapher-Painter Website Fine Works Collection” and the “Xizhi Cup National Calligraphy Masterpieces Collection,” and are collected by institutions including the Shaolin Temple Sutra Pavilion, Henan Social Work Committee, relevant government units, hotels, overseas Chinese in Singapore, and calligraphy enthusiasts from all walks of life.
