Wen Shuyun, original name Wen Yun, born in 1991, native of Kaifeng, graduated from Henan University, further studied in the Advanced Research Class of the Fine Arts Department at Peking University.Apprenticed under renowned calligrapher and painter Zhu Zhenhe (art name: Yumo Shanren), and renowned painter Chen Jingmian. Currently a member of the Henan Artists Association, National First-Class Artist, Director of the Fine Arts and Calligraphy Education Professional Committee of Henan Education Society, and Director of the Chinese Bird-and-Flower Painting Research Association. Versatile in painting, specializing in flowers and birds, landscapes, figures, etc.Her works have won numerous awards in major national exhibitions, including “National Beauty and Heavenly Fragrance,” which won the first prize at the 9th Chinese Painting Art Exhibition held by the 2007 Henan Youth Calligraphy Competition.
“Green Mountains and Emerald Verdure” won the gold award at the 10th National Culture Exhibition in 2010.
“Plum Blossoms Bring Five Blessings” received a nomination award at the 2016 Shanghai Young Artists Competition.
Her works were specially featured in the Chinese Ink Painting Newspaper!
In 2018, she successfully held the “Ink and Colors” Wen Shuyun Chinese Painting Exhibition.
