 Yang Haiqing, male, Han ethnicity, born in 1956 in Xuchang, Henan. National First-Class Calligraphy Master, contemporary calligrapher, State Gift Artist, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Overseas Calligraphers and Painters Association, member of the Mao Zedong Style Calligraphers Association of China, member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, Director of the Chinese Calligraphy and Fine Arts Association, Vice President of Zhongyao Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Vice President and Secretary-General of Zhongshen Calligraphy and Painting Academy, specially invited calligrapher for CCTV’s program “I Love China,” designated “Calligraphy Art Expert” by the China Academy of Management Science, selected as “Calligraphy and Painting Art Master” in the 684th edition of “Charming China Art Selection,” awarded “Influential Art Ambassador” by China Good Brand, and selected as “Pioneer Model Figure in Chinese Art.” Mr. Yang and his calligraphy works have been included in the “Encyclopedia of Chinese Calligraphers” series and the “Contemporary Chinese Artists” album. After comprehensive evaluation by the State Gift Artist Expert Committee, Mr. Yang was rated as “Artist with the Highest Collectible Value in 2020.” Meanwhile, his calligraphy works have repeatedly won Gold Awards and Special Gold Awards in global Chinese and national calligraphy and painting competitions. In recent years, his calligraphy has received widespread acclaim and praise from all sectors of society and has been collected by numerous institutions both domestically and overseas.
