Liu Lianzhen, also known as Liu Yang and Liangwang, was born on November 26, 1976, in Luyi, Henan. Influenced by his family since childhood, he developed a deep passion for calligraphy and traditional Chinese painting. He graduated from the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, studying under masters Huo Chunyang, Xiao Peijin, and Zhang Jianhui. He furthered his studies at the Rongbaozhai Painting Academy Advanced Research Class for Chinese Painters in Beijing, learning from renowned artists such as Guo Shifu, Tang Hui, Shi Qi, and Zhao Shaoyan. Currently, he is a painter at the Rongbaozhai Painting Academy, a member of the Calligraphers Association, President of the Mochi Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a member of the Hong Kong Artists Association, and an academician of the China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting. In 2019, he held an exhibition at the Rongbaozhai Painting Academy, where his works were collected by the academy. In 2019, he was also named one of the Most Influential Calligraphers and Painters by the China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting.
