Zhang Xinghua, originally named Li Haizhong, male, born in 1976, native of Huaiyang, Zhoukou, Henan. His ancestral home is Lifeng Village, Laozhong Town, Taikang County, Zhoukou City, Henan Province; later relocated to Bailifen Village, Anling Town, Huaiyang County.
Born into a family with a long-standing tradition of calligraphy and scholarship, since childhood he and his younger brother Li Shangxing (originally named Li Donghai) studied calligraphy under the guidance of their father Li Jinpeng and elder brother Li Tie, mastering the powerful Yan style and the elegant Liu style, their brushstrokes as agile as startled dragons.

Vice President of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association;

Author of a series of textbooks including "Chinese Hard-Pen Calligraphy," "Chinese Soft-Pen Calligraphy," and "Calligraphy Grade Examination Tutorial";
Young Calligraphy Educator;
One of the Founders of "Most Beautiful Handwriting" Chinese Character Education;
One of the Founders of the Han-Wei-Tang Celebrity Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Institute, and a pioneer in promoting standardized characters.
 
 
Calligraphy Experience:
Since childhood, practiced calligraphy under the guidance of his father and elder brother, focusing on regular script and clerical script. His junior high school award-winning work, "The sword’s edge is honed through grinding; the plum blossom’s fragrance emerges after enduring the bitter cold," won first prize in the county-wide junior high school calligraphy competition.
Enlisted in 1994, served as soldier, squad leader, and projectionist in a military unit in Taiyuan; his calligraphy attracted significant attention within the military and he was appointed publicity officer in the Political Department, later admitted to the People's Liberation Army Academy of Art.
Graduated from the People's Liberation Army Academy of Art in 1999; his calligraphy works were collected by Defense Minister Zhang Wannian.
In 2001, his calligraphy works were collected by actor Wang Gang.
In 2002, his calligraphy works were collected by actor Fu Biao.
In 2003, participated in calligraphy art exchange events in South Korea and Japan.
In 2005, participated in calligraphy art exchange events in Malaysia and Singapore.
Later, due to his devotion to traditional culture, karmic blessings, and spiritual mentorship, he formally studied under nationally renowned calligrapher and the foremost contemporary master of regular script, Mr. Tian Yingzhang; Mr. Liu Hongsheng, Dean of Huaxia Jindao Academy of Sinology and Director of the Shanxi Calligraphers Association; and Mr. Zhang Wensheng, Chairman of Sina.com Shanxi Calligraphy and Painting Channel and President of the Shanxi Branch of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Association. In 2020, together with his younger brother Li Shangxing, he formed the "Xing-Hua" Brothers Calligraphy Duo.                        
Zhang Xinghua’s calligraphy draws widely from diverse masters, respects ancient traditions without being confined by them, follows teachings without rigid adherence. His works have been selected for exhibitions including Shanxi Province’s “70 Glorious Years, Dreaming with the Motherland” Grand Calligraphy Exhibition Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the PRC, the Poetry and Calligraphy Exhibition hosted by the Shanxi Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the “February 2nd, Dragon Raises Its Head” Hundred-Dragon Calligraphy Exhibition hosted by Sina Shanxi Calligraphy and Painting Channel, and won Third Prize in the Second All-Army Calligraphy Exhibition.
