Zhang Zhenjia, a renowned Chinese calligrapher, pen name Yifeng, styled Shimo Xuanzhu, was born in 1952 in Luoyang, the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties. His works have frequently been presented as national gifts to foreign ambassadors to China, business elites, and international friends! In recent years, Mr. Zhang has participated in numerous national calligraphy and painting competitions, winning multiple awards. In 2015, he was invited to participate in the Henan Outstanding Talent Achievement Exhibition, where he won the Gold Award and his work was collected by the organizing committee. In 2016, he was selected for inclusion in the “China Talent Dictionary” by the National Talent Mobility Center of the Ministry of Personnel and the editorial board of the “China Talent Dictionary.” In November 2017, he received the “Chinese Artistic Talents” award and was conferred the honorary title of “Contemporary Master of Calligraphy and Painting Influencing China.”
