Liu Shuxiu

Shuxiu Liu, female, born in 1981, is from Xiangcheng, Henan Province, and graduated from the Urban Design College of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Her oil painting work "Remembrance" won the Outstanding Award of the Adult Education Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and was collected. In 2006, her series of works "100 Days Before the College Entrance Examination" were published by Beijing Fine Arts Publishing House. In 2007, she participated in the creation of the Beijing Olympic Games mural "Ode to the Sacred Flame." Her work "The Girl" was exhibited at the 24th Newcomers Exhibition of Henan Province in 2019. Her work "Hope" was selected for the National Invitation Exhibition of 100 Oil Paintings of the "Echo" series. Her work "National Backbone: Zhong Nanshan" was successively featured in the WeChat Official Account of Zhoukou City Art Museum, Henan Artists Association, and "Painting China." Her work "Guarding in the Snowstorm" was successively featured in the WeChat Official Account of Zhoukou City Art Museum, Zhongzhou Art Report, and "Art Taotao." In September 2020, her work "National Backbone" won the Excellent Award of the 25th Henan Newcomers Exhibition. She has been engaged in middle and high school art teaching for many years. Her paper "My View on the Guidance Methods of Junior High School Art Appreciation Courses" won the First Prize of Excellent Results in Henan Province. She has been awarded as an outstanding teacher at the municipal level multiple times. The art students she has mentored have achieved top national rankings, including second place nationwide at the China Academy of Art, first place nationwide at the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, first place nationwide at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, first place nationwide at Shenzhen University and Jinan University, second place nationwide at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and excellent results at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts. She is cheerful, loves life and art, is simple and unpretentious, paints with her heart, and strives tirelessly!
