Personal Profile

Chu Jiahai, male, born in 1967, is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a registered calligraphy teacher certified by the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a national senior calligrapher, a member of the Chinese Hard Pen Calligraphers Association, a member of the Chinese Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, and Honorary President of the Luoyang Wang Duo Calligraphy and Painting Academy. He began his studies with the Two Wangs (Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi), while also studying Han and Wei dynasty stele inscriptions. He has received guidance from mentors such as Wang Xueling, Zhang Xuguang, and Yun Ping, achieving significant progress. He has participated in numerous national large-scale calligraphy exhibitions and won awards. 2011: Won the "Gold Award" at the 4th Shenzhou Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition; included in the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Heritage Canon, and conferred the title of "Inheritor of Chinese Culture". 2011: Won the "Gold Award" at the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition Commemorating the 35th Anniversary of Mao Zedong’s Death; conferred the honorable title of "Top 100 Calligraphers and Painters Who Artistically Express Mao Zedong Thought"; works included in the book Outstanding Calligraphy and Painting Works in Memory of the Great Leader. September 2011: Awarded the "Gold Award" at the 2nd Wang Duo Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Competition; works included in Selected Works of the 2nd Wang Duo Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Competition, and appointed Honorary President of the Wang Duo Calligraphy and Painting Academy. 2012: Won the "First Prize" at the 8th Nanchang "Bayi Cup" Literature and Art Calligraphy Competition. 2012: Won the "First Prize" at the "Sansu Cup" Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Competition. 2012: Participated in the 30th London Olympic Games Chinese Cultural Heritage Greeting Art Creation, awarded the "Greeting Art Award, Grade A Work"; works to be included in The Great Canon of Artistic Greetings by Chinese Olympic Athletes. 2012: Won the "Second Prize" at the 3rd "Xizhi Cup" National Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Artists Invitational Exhibition; works to be included in Volume 3 of Selected Works of the Xizhi Cup National Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Artists.
