Personal Profile

Yang Shuyi, male, born in 1960, is a native of Pingdingshan City, Henan Province. He is currently a member of the Henan Calligraphers Association, a craft advertising designer, a member of the Pingdingshan Calligraphers Association, Vice President of the Branch Institute of the Chinese I Ching Academic Research Institute, a Chinese National Etiquette Artist, the Most Collectible Artist of 2020, and a Leading Figure in Art of the New Era. In May 2020, he was awarded the Honorary Prize in the “Chinese Dream·Hanyacup” National Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition. In recent years, he has mainly focused on writing running and cursive scripts, continuously improving and developing his own distinctive style while remaining faithful to traditional principles, earning unanimous praise and acclaim from viewers.
