Xu Jiwei, styled "Wolong Villager," was born in 1959 in Zhenping, Henan. Honorary President of Guangdong Xiande Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Expert Committee Member of the Contemporary Chinese Fine Arts and Calligraphy Committee, Contracted Calligrapher and Painter of Beijing Fushe Xuan Culture Media, Contracted Calligrapher and Painter of "Huadu Fine Arts," Art Consultant of Kaiping Culture, Vice President of Henan Cadres Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and Affiliated Painter of China Southern Poetry and Calligraphy Academy.

Published works include: "Xu Jiwei Painting Collection," "Xu Jiwei Sketch Collection," "2016 Collectible Stamp Album," "2019 Inked Life ~ Contemporary Chinese Art Masters - Xu Jiwei," "2019 Culture China ~ Spotlight on Contemporary Art Masters - Xu Jiwei," and "Thirty Influential Chinese Painters ~ 2020 Art China - Xu Jiwei."

His fine art and photographic works have won first prize in national professional competitions five times and first prize in provincial/ministerial-level professional competitions six times.
