Qin Pengfei, styled "Moyan", male, Han ethnicity, native of Shangqiu City, Henan Province, holds a university education and runs a private enterprise. Born in 1981, he has loved calligraphy since childhood, initially studying regular script and later practicing the styles of the Two Wangs. Introduced by Teacher Chai, on August 1, 2020, he formally became a disciple of Jin Wandong — President of Yunhe Calligraphy and Painting Academy, member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, Honorary Chairman of the China Military Spirit Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Guest Professor at Beijing University, Honorary Chairman of the World Association of Artists and Entrepreneurs, and nationally renowned calligrapher and painter — to further his study and mastery of calligraphy. He is now gaining recognition in the field.
Personal Honors
His calligraphy works have been selected and awarded multiple times in national calligraphy and painting competitions.
In June 2020, his calligraphy work won the "Gold Award" in the 11th Moyuanbao National Calligraphy and Painting Competition titled "Ink Conveys Love • Overcoming Hardships Together".
In August 2020, his work won another Gold Award in the 4th "Zhonghua Cup" National Poetry, Calligraphy, Painting and Seal Carving Competition.
In December 2020, he received the Special Gold Award in the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition Commemorating the 127th Anniversary of Chairman Mao’s Birth, along with a trophy, medal, and certificate of honor.
